Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on October 1

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,187 VND/USD on October 1, unchanged from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,187 VND/USD on October 1, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,446 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,928 VND/USD.

At 8:25 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks also saw fluctuations.

Vietcombank raised the buying rate by 20 VND, listing at 26,226 VND/USD, while kept the selling rate at 26,446 VND/USD, from the September 30 morning session.

BIDV also increased the buying rate by 5 VND to 26,240 VND/USD and maintained the selling rate at 26,446 VND/USD./.

Hue accelerates tech upgrades, strengthens vessel monitoring to combat IUU fishing

Aviation authority grants Qatar Airways permission for three flights
