Reference exchange rate up 11 VND on November 12

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,129 VND/USD on November 12, up 11 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,129 VND/USD on November 12, up 11 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,385 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,873 VND/USD.

At 8:15, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw increases.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV continued to raise the selling rate by 12 VND to 26,385 VND/USD.

While Vietcombank hiked the buying rate by 12 VND to 26,125 VND/USD, BIDV kept it unchanged at 26,120 VND/USD./.
