Reference exchange rate up 6 VND on July 13

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,481 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,959 VND/USD.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,220 VND/USD on July 13, up 6 VND from the last working day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,481 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,959 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, the opening-hour buying and selling rates at major commercial banks dropped from the July 10 morning trading session.

At 8:15, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,080 VND/USD, down 24 VND, and the selling rate at 26,460 VND/USD, up down 14 VND./.
