VinFast auto sales up 72% in H1

It marked the first time an automotive brand in Vietnam has exceeded 100,000 vehicle deliveries in the first half.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese electric automaker VinFast on July 10 announced preliminary domestic deliveries of 17,955 electric vehicles for June, bringing the year-to-date total to 115,916 units, up 72% annually.

It marked the first time an automotive brand in Vietnam has exceeded 100,000 vehicle deliveries in the first half. June also marked the 21st consecutive month that VinFast remained Vietnam's best-selling automobile brand, maintaining its market-leading position since October 2024.

Notably, Limo Green continued to be VinFast’s best-selling model in June, with 3,868 vehicles delivered during the month. The VF 3 ranked second, with 3,550 vehicles delivered. The VF 5 and the Herio Green, which is derived from the VF 5, recorded combined deliveries of 3,364 units, followed by the VF 6 with 2,988 units delivered. The VF 7 saw 1,437 vehicles delivered while the VF MPV 7 posted 1,254 units delivered.

For the first half, the Limo Green and the VF 3 were VinFast’s two best-selling models in Vietnam with cumulative deliveries of 27,927 and 23,781 vehicles, respectively. The company also handed over 20,167 VF 5 and Herio Green vehicles, 14,045 VF 6 vehicles, 9,177 VF MPV 7 vehicles, and 6,849 VF 7 vehicles to customers during the period.

In addition, VinFast recently introduced the VF 2, a compact urban EV, and opened pre-orders at 188 million VND (7,200 USD) for the model in Vietnam. Deliveries are expected to begin in September 2026./.

Vietnam's wood exporters race to stay on growth path

Fuel prices continue to fall on latest adjustment

The maximum retail price of E5RON92 was set at 19,191 VND (0.73 USD) per litre, down 539 VND from the previous ceiling and 812 VND lower than E10RON95-III. The latter was capped at 20,003 VND per litre, a decrease of 412 VND.
