Tuyen Quang (VNA) – Preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure in the northern province of Tuyen Quang have been complete, said Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh.

Lenh, who is also head of the provincial election steering committee, told the Vietnam News Agency that the committee had convened meetings to assign specific tasks to Party committees and local authorities. All preparatory activities were carried out in full accordance with established procedures and legal regulations.

The province has also completed the nomination process and finalised the list of candidates for submission to the relevant authorities for review and approval.

He wished that all locals would maintain their spirit of unity and the proud revolutionary tradition of their border homeland, joining the election with the highest possible turnout.

He said every vote cast represents far more than a personal choice of representatives. Each vote is an expression of trust in state bodies and plays an essential role in reinforcing effective governance while translating the Party and State’s policies into concrete socio-economic progress in the coming years./.
