The Red Dao people boast the second-largest population in Sa Pa town, after the H’Mong, and are readily distinguished by their colourful outfits.

From pieces of jewellery to decorative patterns on their houses, everything belonging to the Red Dao is red in colour.

In her house, Ms. May introduces visitors to the unique culture of her ethnic minority group.

To develop tourism and promote ethnic minority culture among visitors, Sun World Fansipan has created a northwestern cultural space with 5 ancient houses of the H’Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, and Xa Pho people in a tourist complex located at the foot of nearby Mount Fansipan.

Visitors come to experience a miniature ancient Sa Pa town, from the food to the spiritual culture, dance, and music.

At an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, visitors will be immediately caught up in the powerful dance of the Khmu people or the graceful moves of the Thai and H’Mong.

In addition to majestic natural scenery, tourists will also long remember the cultural values of local people in the northwest region of Vietnam./.
