Vietnam to procure nearly 1.7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses

Foreign tourists visiting Vietnam will be subject to a new visa policy beginning on August 15, 2023, with notable changes including the issuance of 90-day e-visas and an increase in the temporary stay period for people entering the country under unilateral visa exemption to 45 days.

The results from Vietnam’s COVID-19 prevention and control efforts have made important contributions to and created favourable conditions for the country’s socio-economic recovery. Social elements have received particular attention, with the lives of the people being constantly improved.

Vietnam has successfully produced and officially exported African swine fever vaccine of AVAC Vietnam Joint Stock Company to five countries, including Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Myanmar.

The six-lane Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road in Quang Ninh province runs for a total length of 18.7km and is considered the most beautiful such route in Vietnam, with impressive and picturesque landscapes.
