Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast on May 13 announced a partnership with four major Philippine firms to establish more than 100 authorised service centres across the country in 2025.

The new collaboration involves Goodyear Philippines, Tire King and Rubber Products, Power Tread Services, and Marcjan Cavite.

According to the recently signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and service level agreements (SLAs), these partners will operate official VinFast service centres offering maintenance, repairs, and customer care for EVs in line with the company’s global standards.

VinFast and Goodyear Philippines plan to launch 50 authorised service centres this year. Marcjan Cavite will open eight while Tire King and Power Tread each aim to establish seven.

All authorised VinFast centres in the Philippines will be held to strict standards for facilities, equipment, and technician qualifications. These workshops will prioritise genuine parts and services for VinFast vehicle owners.

VinFast has also pledged comprehensive support for its partners, including personnel training, technical consulting, and operational know-how, to ensure the swift rollout of the service network.

The latest agreements build on the earlier MoUs signed with Philippine partners JIGA and Motech, reinforcing VinFast’s strategy to rapidly expand its EV ecosystem in the country and enhance after-sales services for customers.

Nearly a year after entering the Philippine market, VinFast is steadily expanding its presence with smart EV models, competitive sales policies, and a growing after-sales network.

In Southeast Asia, the company aims to build a comprehensive “For a Green Future” ecosystem, with a strong focus on developing charging infrastructure and service centres—a model already proven successful in Vietnam and now being implemented in promising markets like the Philippines./.
