A ceremony to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCM CYU) was held in Moscow on March 25 (Photo: VNA) Moscow (VNA) - A ceremony to celebrate the 92ndanniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCM CYU), the 48th anniversary ofthe Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, and the 73rd anniversary ofVietnam-Russia diplomatic relations was held by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) on March 25 in Moscow.
The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassadorto Russia Dang Minh Khoi along with representatives from the RANEPA, Vietnamese associations in Russia and local and international students in Russia.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Khoi stressedthat in his whole life, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to young people, who he said are the future of the country, and the major force for national construction and defence.
Khoi expressed his hope that Vietnamese youth in Russiawill make greater efforts in contributing to homeland in the future.
On the occasion, 14 HCM CYU members who made outstandingcontributions to the youth union work in 2022 were presented with certificatesof merit from the Overseas Party Committee in Russia.
An exhibition was also held at the event introducing Vietnamese culture, people, and Vietnamese students and leaders who used to study at RANEPA previous,including Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong./.
