- President Vo Van Thuong attended a ceremony to hand over1,400 houses, worth more than 70 billion VND (2.88 million USD), to poorfamilies in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang on January 1.

Expressing his delight at Hau Giang’s achievementsafter 20 years of establishment, Thuong hailed the province’s efforts to takecare of the impoverished, families with difficulties, and people who renderedservices to the nation. Read full story
