– Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented his decisions appointing two provincial Party secretaries to deputy-ministerial level positions, at a conference on June 30.

Accordingly, Tran Duc Thang, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee, was appointed as Standing Deputy Inspector General of Government Inspectorate. Meanwhile, Ho Van Nien, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the Gia Lai provincial Party Committee, was appointed as Standing Deputy Minister of Ethnic and Religious Affairs. – National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a working session with leaders of the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on June 30 to size up its rollout of two-tier local governance model and ensure new wards and communes get the infrastructure they need to thrive.

– An exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary career in China has been jointly held by the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History of China and the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Vietnam as part of activities to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations and the Year of Humanistic Exchange 2025 between the two nations.

During his journey to seek a path for liberating the nation, President Ho Chi Minh spent many years in China, including an extremely important period in Guangzhou, Guangdong province from 1924–1927. During this time, he set up the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League, the predecessor of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), and organised training courses to prepare personnel and build the organisational structure, creating the ideal conditions for the founding of the CPV — the core leadership and decisive factor in the success of the Vietnamese revolution.
