– A photo exhibition on Hanoi was launched at the Hanoi Museum on March 12 to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the city’s Party organisation (March 17, 1930 – 2020).

The Hanoi Party organisation was founded at 42 Hang Thiec Street, Hoan Kiem district just over one month after the Communist Party of Vietnam was born. It marked a significant milestone in the revolutionary movement of the country as well as the capital city, contributing to the nation’s great victory towards independence and socialism.

The exhibition, named “Hanoi, confidence and desire to rise”, showcases 200 photos divided in four sections – the first is devoted to precious documentary photos on President Ho Chi Minh and the city’s revolutionary movement; the second one focuses on the city’s historic milestones, telling stories about its important achievements under the leadership of the municipal Party organisation; and the third one depicts the capital city during the renewal period with a desire to rise high as a national hub for culture, science, education, economics and international exchanges.

The last section shows efforts of the city to promote the movement of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and morality.

The event will run through March 20././.
