Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,057 VND/USD on March 6, up 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,310 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,804 VND/USD.
At 8:35, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw increases.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,029 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,309 VND/USD, up 22 VND and 2 VND respectively from the March 5 morning session.
Meanwhile, BIDV raised both rates by 2 VND, listing the buying rate at 26,029 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,309 VND/USD./.
