Reference exchange rate up 8 VND on July 21

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,260 VND/USD on July 21, up 8 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,523 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,997 VND/USD.

The opening-hour buying and selling rates at major commercial banks remained stable as compared to the July 20 morning trading session.

Vietnam records 15.4% growth in international air passengers

CAAV statistics show that international passenger throughput reached 26.2 million as of June 15, 2026. Of the total, Vietnamese airlines transported 9.6 million international passengers, a slight increase of 0.2% year-on-year, accounting for 36.6% of the total international passenger market.
