Two Vietnamese missing in RoK fishing vessel fire identified
The two Vietnamese sailors went missing after a fishing vessel of the
Republic of Korea (RoK) caught fire at sea early December 30 were
identified.

They are Nguyen Van Chuc, born in 1977 in Ky Phu commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province, and Vo Van Huu, born in 1992 in Ly Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province. Both entered the RoK on May 27, 2014 to work on the ship.
The ship Munseong 103, carrying eight Koreans and two Vietnamese, caught fire at 5:13am (local time), some 5 nautical miles northeast of the disputed islets called Dokdo by the RoK and Takeshima by Japan.
Two Korean sailors were confirmed dead, four crewmen, including the captain, were rescued, and four others, including two Vietnamese went missing.
Search is continuing for the four missing.
Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK is keeping close contact with RoK authorities to update information and deal with the matter.-VNA
