Tel Aviv (VNA) - A delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel onNovember 6 surveyed field conditions to serve the evacuation of Vietnamesecitizens in the host country in case the Israel-Hamas conflict spreads.

Specifically, they considered travel routes, options for renting cars or deployingvehicles, accommodations, and related immigration procedures to help Vietnamesecitizens move to border areas with Jordan by road.

Ambassador Ly Duc Trung said that currently,the Vietnamese community in Israel remains safe, because the dangerous areas aremainly on the southern border close to the Gaza Strip and the northern borderadjacent to Lebanon.

However, to prepare for bad situations that can happen at any time, it isnecessary to have preparation plans early, he said, adding that the embassywill do its best to ensure safety for Vietnamese citizens.

The embassy has recommended Vietnamesecitizens and their families to stay away from fighting zones, and need to have aplan to quickly evacuate human and property to a third country or back toVietnam.

According to a preliminary survey of the embassy, in case of necessity, theVietnamese community in Israel wishing to leave the fighting zones is about 250people, including nearly 200 agricultural trainees and labourers./.

Prime Minister commends Vietnamese students winning international prizes

According to the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), over the past decade, Vietnamese student teams competing in international academic contests have won a total of 434 prizes, including 132 gold, 169 silver and 133 bronze medals, along with certificates of merit. Regarding recruitment, employment and management of human resources in the education sector, the Resolution stipulates that the directors of provincial Departments of Education and Training are authorised to recruit and receive teachers, school managers and staff for public kindergartens, general education institutions, continuing education centres, specialised schools and public vocational high schools in their provinces.

Under Official Dispatch No. 12729/VPCP-KGVX dated December 25, civil servants and public employees will have a four-day break from Thursday (January 1) to Sunday (January 4, 2026).
