Hanoi (VNA) – Following a strong impression at the 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2024), the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will lead a business delegation to the 4th GDTE, scheduled to take place from September 23–29 in Hangzhou, China.
Vietnam’s national pavilion at GDTE 2025 will span approximately 180 square metres and feature 15–20 standout enterprises in digital technology and e-commerce. Key sectors include information technology and digital transformation services such as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR/XR/MR), artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs), semiconductors, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, digital content, smart manufacturing, IoT, and related technologies.
The pavilion will also feature chip design, embedded and industrial software, video games and e-sports, e-commerce platforms, digital biotech and healthcare, green and environmental technologies, as well as smart and new energy vehicles.
According to the agency, participating in GDTE 2025 presents not only an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their brands, products, and services to tens of thousands of international visitors and partners, but also a strategic gateway to deeper integration into global value chains through digital trade platforms.
At the expo, Vietnamese companies will showcase their products at a modern national pavilion, connecting directly with buyers, investors, e-commerce platforms, and strategic partners from China and beyond. The event also offers insights into digital transformation trends, cross-border e-commerce, and key updates on trade, logistics, payments, and digital cooperation.

At GDTE 2024, Vietnam’s national pavilion attracted strong interest with its display of digital technologies, software solutions, e-commerce platforms, and cross-border logistics services. Many Vietnamese firms connected with major Chinese and international companies, opening doors to partnerships in technology, services, and investment.
According to post-event reports, over 70 direct business meetings took place, with more than 90% of firms establishing new trade contacts. Notably, 95% of participants recommended regular trade promotion activities, especially in China and ASEAN markets, to support long-term cooperation./.
