World-class chefs from Germany, Mexico, Australia, India, China, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Sweden, the US, Turkey, Greek, Malaysia, and Singapore will join the first Da Nang International Food Festival 2019 in the central city of Da Nang from June 2-6.

The event’s theme will offer a “Taste of Homeland” and is expected to draw many domestic and international tourists.

In particular, President of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies Thomas Andeas Gugler will choose an outstanding chef representing each nation to demonstrate cooking skills each night.

A street art show, food carnival, events to share cooking experience with students of tourism, and the presentation of gifts to children at the Support Centre for Agent Orange Victims are also scheduled as part of the event.-VNA
