- Within the framework of his state visit to Cambodia, Party General Secretary To Lam laid wreaths at the Independence Monument, the Memorial to late King Norodom Sihanouk, and the Cambodia–Vietnam Friendship Monument in Phnom Penh on February 6.

- Party General Secretary To Lam met with Samdech Techo Hun Sen in Phnom Penh on February 6, following the official welcome ceremony for the Vietnamese leader at the Royal Palace earlier the same day.
At the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen warmly welcomed General Secretary Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation on their state visit to Cambodia, which takes place shortly after the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). - Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Mazen Turki El Qadi departed Hanoi on February 6 morning, concluding his official visit to Vietnam from February 2–5 at the invitation of National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

- Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in January rose slightly by 0.05% compared with the previous month, mainly driven by stronger consumption demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance announced on February 6.
According to the NSO, higher pork prices due to increased Tet demand, rising prices of dining-out services, and higher costs of housing maintenance materials linked to year-end home renovations were the main contributors to the increase. - To express gratitude to the community and stimulate tourism following the official inscription of the Yen Tu Relics and Landscape Complex as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Council on February 5 passed a resolution granting free admission to the complex from 2026 through the end of 2028.
