The Da Lat Flower Forest Biotechnology Joint Stock Company in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong said that it is going ahead with a plan to export 40,000 daisies each week to Japan this year.

According to Company Director Nguyen Dinh Son, the export plan is part of a World Bank-funded project under which the company cooperates with local farmers to zone off large materials areas for export.

So far, 10 hectares have been marked out for growing daisy, said Son.
