Gia Lai province gets over 1,120-tonne rice relief aid

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc on December 30 signed a decision to provide rice relief aid to Gia Lai, a province in the Central Highlands, to support residents during the Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration and the between-crop period this year.

Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc on December 30 signed a decision to provide rice relief aid to Gia Lai, a province in the Central Highlands, to support residents during the Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration and the between-crop period this year.

The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to allocate over 1,128 tonnes of rice from the national reserves for the province. In coordination with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, the rice distribution will be carried out according to established regulations and their respective roles.

The People’s Committee of Gia Lai province will oversee the distribution of the rice, ensuring it reaches eligible residents in accordance with the rules./.
