Japan Coast Guard ship starts Vietnam visit
Japan Coast Guard Training Vessel, the Kojima, with 80 officers and crew members on board, docked at Tien Sa Port, the central coastal city of Da Nang on July 24 to begin a five-day visit to Vietnam.
The Japanese training ship’s visit aims to enhance cooperation, friendship and mutual understanding between coast guard forces of both sides.
The Japanese guests will join a sport exchange event, and perform Kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art, and Yosakoi dance at the Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange festival 2018.
