Can Tho (VNA) – A photo exhibition entitled “The Great Spring Victory 1975 inMekong Delta” opened in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on April 25.

This ispart of activities to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the liberation ofsouthern Vietnam and national reunification, the 131st May Day and the 127thbirth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh.

The show featuresmore than 120 photos that captured the historic moments of the country andintroduced economic and social activities in the region after the liberation.

On theoccasion, a thematic display of farming equipment used in the Mekong Delta duringthe resistance war is also going on, with over 250 items and photos.

Visitors will have a chance to enjoy the re-enactment of rice production process of MekongDelta farmers.
