Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,063 VND/USD on February 9, down 2 VND from the last working day of the previous week.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,316 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,810 VND/USD.
At 8:15, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks also saw decreases.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,760 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,140 VND/USD, down 30 VND and 10 VND from the February 6 morning session.
Meanwhile, BIDV cut both rates by 14 VND, listing the buying rate at 25,746 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,126 VND/USD./.
