Speaking to Vietnam News Agency’s correspondent in Brussels, Governor of East Flanders province Jan Briers said that Can Tho is chosen as the city holds time-honoured ties with East Flanders.
The participation of Can Tho at the 69th fair will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two sides, not only in economics but also in culture, he added.
Minister Counsellor to Belgium Vu Ba Phu said that the country’s trade fair will offer a chance for Can Tho and Mekong Delta provinces in general to promote their products to foreign markets.
As one of big trade events in Europe, this year’s ACCENTA fair attracts the participation of more than 300 companies around the world. It will last until September 22.-VNA
