From January 2024 to mid-November 2025, Hue city recorded only seven IUU-related violations, all were addressed according to regulations. Nearly 1,000 vessels have completed data verification on the VNFishbase system, significantly improving transparency to support the yellow card removal process.

The central city of Hue has taken actions to promptly monitor, detect, report, and prevent fishing vessels intending to violate foreign waters.

Vice Chairman of the Hue municipal People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai thanked Ho Chi Minh City for its timely support and pledged to allocate the funds efficiently and transparently to families most affected by the disaster. The central city of Hue has so far received over 329 billion VND (over 12.5 million USD) from the central budget, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)'s agencies, and other localities to support flood recovery efforts.

As of 5 pm on November 3, more than 54,600 houses across Hue city had been still inundated, with floodwaters reaching depths of 0.5 to 1m in some areas.

Shortly after reopening, the Hue Imperial Citadel received its first tour group from Malaysia - a positive sign for the return of international tourists following the floods. Many more groups from countries such as the UK and France have also came to visit the citadel.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision on an emergency allocation of 100 billion VND (3.8 million USD) from the central budget reserve to assist Hue City in recovering from severe flood damage.
