Lotus Festival lights up Hue’s summer

Scheduled for June 19-21 at Bong Lai Islet on Tinh Tam Lotus Lake in Phu Xuan ward, one of Hue’s most renowned scenic landmarks and a symbol of royal garden art, the festival draws inspiration from the lotus’s enduring beauty in court culture. Hue digitises imperial heritage to mitigate disaster and climate risks

As science and technology advance rapidly, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre was asked to accelerate the digitisation of documents, drawings, images and artefacts, build a unified database of monuments, and apply 3D, VR and AR technologies in research, exhibitions, and heritage interpretation.

Hue spotlights its culinary soul at international food festival

Hue has two more national cultural heritages

The new rice festival of the Co Tu ethnic people and the traditional knowledge of bun bo Hue (Hue-style beef noodle soup) have both been officially listed in the national intangible cultural heritages, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue city have announced.
