- Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on July 6 requested the Ministry of Public Security's technical services force to become a highly disciplined, loyal and people-oriented corps of top science and technology experts capable of meeting increasingly complex security challenges.
The top leader made the remarks during a working session with officers of the Department of Techical Services under the Ministry of Public Security, stressing that the country's history of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order has underscored the strategic importance of technical services. - Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on July 6 reaffirmed Vietnam’s unwavering commitment to locating, recovering and identifying the remains of fallen soldiers, stressing that the mission will continue until all martyrs’ remains are recovered.
Speaking at a ceremony launching the search and recovery operation for martyrs’ remains at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City, the Prime Minister described the event as a sacred occasion and a meaningful expression of the nation’s gratitude to those who sacrificed their youth and lives for national independence and freedom. - Despite continued volatility in global trade, Vietnam's agro-forestry-fishery exports maintained positive growth in the first half of 2026, laying the groundwork for stronger expansion in the remainder of the year.

- Economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Israel continued their positive momentum in the first half of 2026, driven by strong growth in Vietnamese exports and the effective implementation of the Vietnam-Israel Free Trade Agreement (VIFTA).
According to the Vietnam Trade Office at the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, bilateral trade was estimated at 1.93 billion USD in the first six months of the year, up 5.5% from the same period in 2025. Vietnam's exports to Israel rose sharply by 35.7% to around 555 million USD, while its imports edged down 0.8% to approximately 1.13 billion USD. Read full story
- Authorities in Lam Dong province have approved in-principle two solar power projects worth more than 5.7 trillion VND (about 218.5 million USD), adding 280 MW of capacity and over 540 million kWh of clean electricity annually to the national grid.
The projects, approved under the revised Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII), are expected to strengthen energy security, support green growth and contribute to the province's economic development. Read full story
