In his remarks, Party General Secretary Trong hailed Hung Yen’s efforts and contributions to the country’s development.

He said that despite its small scale in area and population, Hung Yen boasts high potential thanks to its localtion in the northern key economic region and the Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh growth triangle, as well as its fertile farming land and rich cultural and historical values.

The Party leader asked Hung Yen to optimise its potential, pay more attention to improving its business and investment environment, upgrading its infrastructure system, ensuring even growth of localities across the province, and boosting industrial and rural development in line with environmental protection.

He reminded the provincial Party organisation to continue popularising the 13th National Party Congress’ Resolution, spurring patriotic movements and encouraging innovation to grow into a modern, civilised and rich industrial province in 2030.

With its 80-year history, the provincial Party organisation should uphold its glorious tradition and become a model organisation of the country, improving its leadership capacity and combativeness, he requested.

On the occasion, on behalf of the Party and State, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the Labour Order, first class, to the Party organisation, administration and people of Hung Yen./.
