Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) on October 9 launched the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map 2025 and honoured the Top 10 leading digital technology enterprises.

The map, developed using VINASA’s TechMap assessment method based on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, positions 257 enterprises across 389 locations in 23 sectoral maps according to their Vision and Execution capacities.

Each map displays enterprises categorised into specific groups: Pioneers – market-leading enterprises with both strong vision and execution capacity; Performers – enterprises with robust implementation capabilities focused on practical efficiency; Specialists – enterprises with strengths in specific fields that develop in a specialised direction; and Innovators – creative enterprises focusing on emerging technologies but with developing execution capacity.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong hailed the initiative as a meaningful effort to help Vietnamese digital enterprises clearly identify their positions in the national technology landscape.

VINASA Chairman Nguyen Van Khoa said the map will serve as a vital tool for enterprises to assess their competitiveness, define development strategies, and connect with potential partners and investors.

In 2025, the first year of implementation, 81 enterprises participating in VINASA’s Top 10 Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprises programme were verified and positioned across 169 categories. The map will be regularly updated online, allowing users to filter data by field, view corporate profiles, and arrange business connections, thus fostering a transparent and measurable open technology market in Vietnam. All 23 maps will be published and made freely available for organisations and enterprises to access and utilise. This enables customers and enterprises to access real-time, interactive, and visual information -filtering by sector, positioning group, or criteria; view company profiles, products, and certifications; and schedule business connections. It is expected to serve as an “information infrastructure” for an open, transparent, and measurable technology market in Vietnam.

The event also featured a ceremony honouring the Top 10 Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprises.

Since its inception 11 years ago, VINASA’s Top 10 programme has honoured nearly 800 enterprises, introducing Vietnamese tech capacity to over 100 countries and economies. In this year’s edition, the programme shifts from selection to evaluation and ranking under the international-standard VINASA TechMap model, marking the first integration of enterprise recognition with the creation of the national digital technology business map.

Accordingly, these enterprises are positioned on the map across 23 specific sectors grouped into five major categories: Technology and Platform Development; Organisational and Business Management Solutions; Socio-economic Sectoral Solutions; Digital Services; and Digital Technology Startups.

The 81 verified enterprises recorded a combined 2024 revenue of more than 160 trillion VND (around 6.5 billion USD), accounting for over 40% of Vietnam’s total software and IT services revenue, and employing more than 132,000 engineers./.
