Nearly 900 tonnes of rice allocated to disadvantaged people in Dak Lak

Dak Lak (VNA) - The State Reserve Department in the South Central Highlands region, in coordination with the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Lak province, has distributed more than 878 tonnes of rice to support disadvantaged people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival.

A total of 15,456 households, comprising 58,540 individuals, received rice aid during this period. Each individual was allocated 15kg of rice.

The distribution covered 12 localities, including the districts of Buon Don, Cu M’Gar, Ea Sup, Ea H’Leo, Ea Kar, Krong Ana, Krong Bong, Krong Buk, Krong Nang, Krong Pac, Lak, and M’Drak.

The delivery of rice to these districts was expected to be completed by January 25, and the rice distribution to households is anticipated to be accomplished by January 28. It must ensure that the delivery of the rice aid promptly, to the correct recipients, and in accordance with prescribed quotas./.
