Agricultural land use tax exemption extended through 2030

Vietnam has extended agricultural land use tax exemption until December 31, 2030 under a resolution recently signed by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has extended agricultural land use tax exemption until December 31, 2030 under a resolution recently signed by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

According to Resolution No. 216/2025/QH15, the NA agreed to prolong the tax exemption originally stipulated in Resolution No. 55/2010/QH12 dated November 24, 2010, which had previously been amended and supplemented by two resolutions in 2016 and 2020.

The renewed resolution will take effect from January 1, 2026.

The Government is tasked with issuing detailed regulations and guidance to ensure effective management. /.

Government to provide cash gifts to social policy beneficiaries ahead of Tet 2026

People who rendered meritorious services to the revolution, those entitled to social protection, and social pensioners as defined by respective national ordinances, and decrees, together with orphans without guardians or those living in orphanages will receive a cash gift of 400,000 VND (15.2 USD) per person on the occasion of the 14th National Party Congress and the 2026 Lunar New Year (the Year of the Horse).

Berlin supports clean water supply for flood victims in Vietnam

Franziska Giffey, Berlin’s Deputy Mayor and Minister for Economy, Energy, and State-owned Enterprises, announced that the office in partnership with Lichtenberg district authorities will finance 20 portable "PAUL" (Portable Aqua Unit for Lifesaving) water treatment units. Dung stressed that freedom of expression is an important value, but it must go hand in hand with responsibility, objectivity and a constructive spirit.
