A delegation from the National Political Publishing House – the publisher of theoretical and political books of the Vietnamese Party and State – is attending the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 in Germany, joining meetings, seeking collaboration and engaging in cultural exchanges with reputable publishers worldwide.

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation from the NationalPolitical Publishing House – the publisher of theoretical and political booksof the Vietnamese Party and State – is attending the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023in Germany, joining meetings, seeking collaboration and engaging in culturalexchanges with reputable publishers worldwide.

Presenting at one of the most significant events in theglobal publishing sector from October 18-22, the delegation is set to meetwith international publishing partners to discuss issues related to purchasing andselling copyrights for translated books from various languages to Vietnameseand vice versa.

As planned, they will have discussions with Universityof Cambridge Press, Oxford University Press, Yale University Press, andSpringer Nature Group of the UK, Tallandier publishing company of France, and FenghuangPress of China.

The Frankfurt Book Fair 2023, the 75th edition of its kind, is gathering over 4,000 publishers across theglobe, making it the largest event since 2020.

For Vietnamese publishing houses, the fair provides anopportunity to explore new trends in the global market, access advancedtechnologies for publishing activities, engage in cultural exchanges related tobooks, negotiate copyright transactions, and learn from internationalexperiences to organise international book-related events./.

UNESCO-backed STEAM initiative helps boost gender equality

Launched in 2019, the “We Are ABLE” initiative aims to promote gender equality, support girls’ education, and foster safe and inclusive learning environments. 100 youth union officials honoured with Ly Tu Trong Award 2026

In 2026, all 40 provincial youth unions and affiliated units submitted their nominations to the HCYU Central Committee. Candidates were assessed based on criteria set out in the award’s regulations, including outstanding achievements in youth union work and youth movements; as well as initiatives and ideas recognised by competent authorities and effectively applied in practice, delivering value to individuals and organisations.
