Hanoi (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee, in coordination with relevant agencies, has launched a peak communication campaign themed, “Hoa binh dep lam” (Peace is beautiful) as part of activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

The campaign is being launched simultaneously across digital platforms and physical spaces. Communication channels of youth organisations and associations will disseminate various media materials such as video clips, infographics, and posters.

It calls on youth union members, young people, and citizens nationwide to simultaneously change their profile and cover photos on their social media accounts, and post content, images, and videos expressing love for the nation, national pride, and the jubilant spirit of celebrating the liberation of the South and national reunification day. These posts are encouraged to feature the national flag and use the hashtag #hoabinhdeplam.

Young people are encouraged to create digital content using the CapCut video template “Hoa binh dep lam” (Link: https://www.capcut.com/t/Zs8PaRdaS/) released by the HCYU Central Committee, to tell stories about peace, gratitude, and national pride from a fresh, creative perspective unique to their generation.

As of the morning of April 24, just three days after the launch, posts with the hashtag #hoabinhdeplam on TikTok have already reached 111.5 million views.

The campaign demonstrates the sound and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and President Ho Chi Minh, the strength of great national unity, and the heroic sacrifices of previous generations for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

It offers an opportunity to spread the historical significance and contemporary value of the Great 1975 Spring Victory, emphasising the sacred and precious value of peace, independence, and national reunification. The campaign also arouses patriotism, the spirit of self-reliance and resilience, as well as the aspiration to contribute to building a prosperous and happy country, among the young generation and across society.

The campaign’s theme is not merely a slogan, but a powerful affirmation of the value of peace, a heartfelt tribute to the heroic past of the nation.

Besides the communication campaign, the youth unions at all levels are organising meaningful programmes to honour those who have contributed to the country’s revolutionary cause, including visits and gift-giving activities to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, and sick soldiers, and others./.
