Recalling the moment when the people of Bangladesh took to the streets to support Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh shortly after Bangladesh regained independence in 1971, researchers affirmed that the two countries share many historical similarities in their struggles for national liberation. They have always been close friends and supported each other during the national construction and development process.

The Vietnamese people's fight for national independenec and reunification, as well as development achievements, is a source of inspiration for many peoples worldwide to learn from and apply in their countries, according to participants.
