Thanh Hoa (VNA) – The People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province has approved a housing support plan aimed at assisting the families of revolution contributors and martyrs' relatives, with plans to benefit 1,735 households in 2025.

Under the initiative, eligible families will receive financial assistance worth 60 million VND (over 2,300 USD) for the construction of new homes and 30 million VND for home repairs from the central budget.

Additionally, the central province will provide extra financial support through local funds, in line with Directive No. 22 issued by the provincial Party Committee. This directive, which is part of a broader effort to improve housing for disadvantaged families during 2024-2025, will offer an additional 20 million VND for new homes and 10 million VND for renovations.

In total, the funding for the programme will exceed 105 billion VND, with over 79 billion VND coming from the central budget and more than 26 billion VND sourced locally.

The housing support programme follows a collaborative approach, combining state assistance, community contributions, and family involvement to ensure the construction of homes that meet high standards and are tailored to the specific conditions of each household. The initiative will also be integrated with other investment and support programmes to maximise its overall impact./.
