Bangkok (VNA) – The Vietnam exhibition was held in Thailand from July 3–5, contributing to promoting Vietnamese brands, strengthening connections between domestic businesses and overseas Vietnamese enterprises, and encouraging trade and investment cooperation while helping Vietnamese firms participate more deeply in regional supply chains.
The event was organised at the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Centre (KICE) by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Khon Kaen, CP Land Group, Khon Kaen provincial authorities, the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association of Thailand and the Association of Thai People of Vietnamese Origin in Khon Kaen, as part of the BEYOND FOOD EXPO 2026 International Trade Fair.
The exhibition brought together numerous domestic enterprises and overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs, showcasing prominent brands in food, beverages, tourism and logistics, including Me Trang Coffee, Vietnam Tea Shop, BKT Group, Ocean and OPL, along with a wide range of speciality Vietnamese food products introduced by the Vietnamese community in Thailand.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Consul General in Khon Kaen Dinh Hoang Linh said the Vietnam Exhibition was an economic diplomacy activity combined with cultural diplomacy, held towards the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations (August 6, 1976 - 2026).
He said the event also contributed to implementing agreements reached during the official visit to Thailand by General Secretary and President To Lam, thereby promoting the Vietnam-Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in a more substantive and effective manner.
Khon Kaen Deputy Governor Yutthaporn Pirunsan praised Vietnam’s first participation in a large-scale trade fair in the locality, describing it as a meaningful activity to strengthen economic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges and friendship between the two countries.
During the three-day event, the Vietnam exhibition attracted thousands of visitors. Several Vietnamese and Thai enterprises signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation in import-export, tourism and logistics.
The organisers expressed their hope that the event will create further cooperation opportunities and contribute to achieving the target of raising bilateral trade turnover to 25 billion USD in the near future./.
