BSR, University of Technology and Education sign cooperation agreement

Under the agreement, the two sides will collaborate on research, development, and application of new technologies in the fields of petrochemical refining, chemicals, new materials, clean energy, and renewable energy.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) and the University of Technology and Education under the University of Da Nang (UD-UTE) on November 15 signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting scientific research, training high-quality human resources, and fostering innovation for sustainable development.

Under the agreement, the two sides will collaborate on research, development, and application of new technologies in the fields of petrochemical refining, chemicals, new materials, clean energy, and renewable energy. The BSR and UD-UTE also agreed to implement scientific and technological projects aligned with the production and business needs of the enterprise, while promoting innovation, technology transfer, and commercialisation of research outcomes.

In the field of training, both sides will work together to develop human resources in engineering, technology, management, and innovation; organise training programmes and specialised workshops; and create opportunities for students and graduate learners to participate in internships, on-site production activities, and research at the company.

The cooperation also opens pathways for experts from both sides to participate in reviewing and implementing sci-tech initiatives, writing and presenting research reports at conferences, and publishing studies in scientific journals domestically and internationally, on a voluntary basis and in compliance with each organisation’s regulations. In addition, part of the collaboration will focus on exploring opportunities for financial support or scholarships for students, with priority recruitment for scholarship recipients who meet the BSR’s requirements.

At the signing ceremony, Bui Ngoc Duong, Chairman of the BSR Board of Directors, shared that implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, the company is focusing on optimising business operations; working on a more diverse, greener, and cleaner product portfolio; and accelerating digital transformation to enhance management capacity and operational efficiency.

To realise these goals, the BSR has recently signed multiple cooperation agreements with organisations in the fields of science, technology, and technical education, he noted./.

Noi Bai Airport to operate expanded int’l terminal with comprehensive automation
