Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh opens at EXPO 2025 in Japan

The exhibition, running from May 23-25, people can watch valuable diplomatic films of the Ho Chi Minh era, and learn about the Nguyen Tat Thanh – Nguyen Ai Quoc's 30-year journey of finding a way to save the country. The event also highlights images of President Ho Chi Minh – a great leader of the Vietnamese people, his legacies at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

Tokyo (VNA) – An exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh opened on May 23 at the Vietnam pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

The exhibition, themed "President Ho Chi Minh – A Symbol of Peace and Friendship", aims to commemorate the 135th birthday of the late Vietnamese leader and the 52nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and deputy chief representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025, said that this is the first time an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh has been held at a world exhibition.

He emphasised that the entire life of President Ho Chi Minh is a powerful testament to his dedication to work and his desire to contribute to the country and humanity for a better world. These values align perfectly with the theme and spirit of EXPO 2025.

Visiting the exhibition that runs until May 25, people can watch valuable diplomatic films of the Ho Chi Minh era, and learn about the Nguyen Tat Thanh – Nguyen Ai Quoc's 30-year journey of finding a way to save the country. The event also highlights images of President Ho Chi Minh – a great leader of the Vietnamese people, his legacies at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

After EXPO 2025, the exhibition will continue to take place in Fukuoka City, Japan, on May 28-29.

The Vietnam pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka is organised and managed by the International Cooperation Department. It is among the most popular destinations at the event, attracting between 7,000 and over 9,000 visitors each day.

In May and June, the pavilion will collaborate with ministries, agencies, and localities to organise activities that promote Vietnam and its localities./.
