Nearly 11,000 runners participate in VnExpress Marathon Da Nang 2025

The race ran through coastal roads considered the most beautiful in Da Nang city and famous landmarks such as Dragon bridge, Tran Thi Ly bridge, Thuan Phuoc bridge and My Khe beach.

Da Nang (VNA) – Nearly 11,000 runners from Vietnam and abroad participated in the VnExpress Marathon Da Nang 2025 on July 20.

The race ran through coastal roads considered the most beautiful in Da Nang city and famous landmarks such as Dragon bridge, Tran Thi Ly bridge, Thuan Phuoc bridge and My Khe beach.

Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Trong Thao said that VnExpress Marathon is one of the largest and most professional running tournament systems in Vietnam, contributing to spreading the sports spirit in the community. Da Nang City is very proud to continue to be the destination of the tournament in 2025.

In the men’s 42km category, Huynh Anh Khoi came first with a time of 2 hours, 40 minutes and 31 seconds, while Le Thi Ha secured the first place in the women’s 42km race with a time 3 hours, 12 minutes and 31 seconds.

Vong Vanh Long finished first in the men’s 21km race after 1 hour, 12 minutes and 11 seconds, and Doan Thi Oanh topped the women’s 21km category with a time of 1 hour, 24 minutes and 14 seconds.

With a time of 33 minute and 28 seconds, Le Hoang Tan won the title in the men’s 10km category, while Dang Tran Diu Huong triumphed in the women’s race after 46 minutes and 26 seconds.

In the men’s 5km event, Le Trong Phu took the first place with 16 minutes and 59 seconds, while Ha Thi Cam Anh finished first in the women’s category after 20 minutes and 47 seconds./.
