Hanoi (VNA) - An additional 80 domestic COVID-19cases were reported in Vietnam over the past six hours to 12pm on June 4,raising the total number of patients to 8,195, said the Ministry of Health.
Of the new cases, 44 were detected in Bac Giang province, 23in Bac Ninh province, 11 in Ho Chi Minh City, and two in Hanoi.
All the cases in Bac Giang are associated with theprovince's industrial parks. They were detected inside quarantine sites and otherlocked down areas.
Nine of the cases in HCM City are linked to thepandemic outbreak at the local Revival Ekklesia Mission congregation. The cases in Bac Ninh and Hanoi have already been quarantined.
The country’s total domestic and imported cases were 6,657 and1,538, respectively. The number of recoveries stood at 3,085, while the deathtoll was 48.
Among active patients receiving treatment, 196 have testednegative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 84 twice and 89 thrice.
