The event highlights Vietnamese tourism for the world in 2024, General Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh told VietnamPlus on the sidelines of a seminar on "Vietnam – the New Destination for World Cinema" held by the Nhan Dan Newspaper, in coordination with the MoCST, in Hanoi on September 10.

The promotional tour is designed to introduce Vietnam as an ideal location for filmmakers to produce movies, and highlighting it as a tourist destination in the process.

The programme will feature a meeting with the US side to promote cooperation in tourism and cinema development, an exhibition to introduce the country, people and culture of Vietnam and a workshop to introduce the potential of Vietnam's tourism and cinema.

It is expected to attract the participation of more than 450 guests from a wide range of backgrounds including agencies, investors, producers and directors of film studios in the US./.
