All makeshift housing projects in Tuyen Quang set for June launch

Tuyen Quang (VNA) – The Standing Committee of the Tuyen Quang provincial Party Committee convened its 22nd session of the 2020–2025 term on April 14 to review key development priorities for the second quarter, including the elimination of makeshift houses.

At the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga urged localities and departments to accelerate administrative reform and digital transformation to improve the provincial competitiveness index, reduce business costs, and provide practical support for the private sector and small- and medium-sized enterprises.

She called for strong, timely, and effective leadership to ensure that construction of all remaining homes under the province’s housing improvement plan begins before June 30.

In the first quarter of 2025, Tuyen Quang’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) grew by 9.7% year-on-year, placing it 11th among 63 provinces and cities nationwide, and 4th among the 14 provinces in the northern midland and mountainous region.

State budget revenue reached 802.8 billion VND (30.96 million USD), equivalent to 14.9% of the annual target.

As part of efforts to improve living conditions for revolution contributors, low-income households, and those just above the poverty line, 5,092 out of 6,928 targeted homes have been built or renovated, fulfilling 73.5% of the plan. This includes 3,390 new constructions and 1,702 repairs./.

Coast Guard Region 2 promotes IUU-free fishing among Quang Ngai fishermen

The Command of Coast Guard Region 2 briefed the fishermen on the Law of the Sea of Vietnam, the Fisheries Law, and legal documents related to IUU prevention.
