Reference exchange rate rises 6 VND on June 29

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,461 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,941 VND/USD.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,201 VND/USD on June 29, up 6 VND from the last working day of the previous week.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,461 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,941 VND/USD.

The opening-hour buying and selling rates at major commercial banks posted mixed changes.

At 8:25am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 26,121 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,461 VND/USD, respectively declining 13 VND and increasing 7 VND from the June 26 morning session./.
