Hanoi (VNA) - Managers, experts, entrepreneurs, and business community representatives will gather at the 5th national culture and business forum to exchange insights and discuss the role of culture in business and production, heard a press conference in Hanoi on November 10.

Accordingly, the annual forum is scheduled for December 21 in Hanoi under the theme “Vietnamese Business Culture – Shaping from breakthrough mindset in the new era.” It carries special significance in putting the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic sector development into practice, emphasising business culture as a new motivation for sustainable national development and fostering values of ethics, responsibility, and humanity within the business community.

Addressing the press conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy emphasised that the forum serves as a platform to convey the strong message of the Party and the State, encouraging enterprises to actively engage in socio-economic development, especially in building and promoting corporate culture in the new context.

Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President and Secretary General of the Hanoi Association of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (Hanoi SMEs) and Head of the forum’s organising board, said the forum, featuring two main discussion sessions, aims to analyse the impact of Resolutions 57, 59, 66, and 68 on Vietnam’s business culture; provide a multidimensional dialogue platform for Party and State leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, businesses, and the media; shape new values for business culture; and introduce key initiatives.

A key feature of the event is a “Hanoi Message,” highlighting the importance of Vietnamese business culture in the new era, and underscoring that culture serves not only as the soul of enterprises but also as a vital source of energy driving an integrated, innovative, and thriving Vietnamese economy.

This effort aims to establish a reference framework to help Vietnamese businesses build a sustainable business culture that meets the demands of integration and development.

The value framework consists of foundational ideological values, core values, behavioral standards, business ethics principles, and criteria for implementing corporate culture.

Amid a rapidly transforming global economy, promoting the role of corporate culture has become a key factor to sustainable growth of Vietnamese enterprises./.
