Hanoi (VNA) – Retail fuel prices in Vietnam were reduced from 16:00 on July 2 following a decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 petrol is capped at 19,730 VND (0.75 USD) per litre, down 1,055 VND, while E10 RON95-III is priced at no more than 20,415 VND per litre, down 788 VND.

The price of diesel 0.05S is set at no more than 21,176 VND per litre, down 690 VND, while mazut 180CST 3.5S is capped at 14,053 VND per kilogramme, down 977 VND.

In the latest price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund. Instead, they decided to contribute 200 VND per litre for biofuel, 200 VND per litre for diesel and 400 VND for mazut oil to the fund./.

Vietnam moves to tackle double challenge in FDI attraction in next phase

The challenge was seen in the Politburo's Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW on developing the foreign-invested sector, which sets ambitious targets for the 2026–2030 period.
