Reference exchange rate unchanged on August 27

The daily reference exchange rate on August 27 is kept unchanged from the previous day, at 25,273 VND/USD.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate on August 27 unchanged from the previous day, at 25,273 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,537 VND/USD, and the floor rate 24,009 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, however, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks went up.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,170 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,530 VND/USD, both up 30 VND from August 26 morning.

The respective rates at BIDV stood at 26,185 VND/USD and 26,536 VND/USD, rising 45 VND and 36 VND./.

First “green lane” durian shipment exported to China

​Under the “green lane” process, quality control begins at the cultivation stage, including soil sampling and monitoring, and continues through harvesting and processing, with traceability labels attached to trees and applied to fruit at the time of picking. It also allows plant quarantine procedures and the issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) directly in the localities where the orchards are located.

Vietnam pushes for deeper auto supply chain ties with RoK
