Hanoi (VNA) – Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly László Kövér will pay an official visit to Vietnam from October 18-22.
The visit will be made at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, according to Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs./.
During the visit, both sides held in-depth discussions on potential avenues for collaboration, notably expanding the enrollment of Vietnamese undergraduates and postgraduate researchers through government scholarship programmes and other bilateral cooperation mechanisms.
The Vietnamese Party, State and people attach importance to the fine traditional relationship between the two nations, which began in 1950.
