Lawmakers to discuss state budget estimates on October 30

The legislature continues discussing at the hall the implementation of the 2025 socio-economic development plan, outlining the plan for 2026, and reviewing the implementation of the National Assembly’s resolutions on the 2021–2025 five-year plans for socio-economic development and economic restructuring on October 30.

Hanoi (VNA) - Lawmakers are scheduled to discuss the implementation of the 2025 State budget, as well as the State budget estimates and the plan for allocation of the central budget for 2026 during the 15th National Assembly (NA)’s ongoing 10th session on October 30.

They will also exchange views on the results of implementing the legislature’s resolutions on the 2021–2025 five-year plans, including the medium-term public investment plan, the national financial plan, and public debt borrowing and repayment, along with the projected plans, comprising the 2026–2030 national five-year financial plan and the 2026–2030 medium-term public investment plan.

Earlier in the morning, the legislature continues discussing at the hall the implementation of the 2025 socio-economic development plan, outlining the plan for 2026, and reviewing the implementation of the National Assembly’s resolutions on the 2021–2025 five-year plans for socio-economic development and economic restructuring.

It also plans to scrutinise the reports of the Government, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy regarding the promulgation of documents amending matters under the authority of the NA to address issues arising during the reorganisation of the state apparatus, the promotion of decentralisation and delegation of authority, and the removal of legal obstacles.

The NA will also review the reports of the Government, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuracy on the implementation of the Constitution, laws, and resolutions of the NA, as well as ordinances and resolutions of the NA Standing Committee in 2025.
