Petrol prices go up in latest adjustment

The retail prices of petrol were revised up on January 9 afternoon following the latest adjustment by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.

Hanoi (VNA) – The retail prices of petrol were revised up on January 9 afternoon following the latest adjustment by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.

Specifically, the price of E5RON92 bio-fuel was priced at up to 20,431 VND (0.8 USD) per litre, representing a 374 VND increase from the previous baseline while RON95-III rose to a maximum of 21,019 VND per litre, up 273 VND.

Diesel 0.05S and kerosene were capped at 19,243 VND and 19,244 VND per litre, up 488 VND and 410 VND, respectively.

Meanwhile, mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is now sold for 16,182 VND per kg as the highest, rising 83 VND.

The two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund for this adjustment./.
